Tracking emails for abandoned carts

Using WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads

If your store uses WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads, we capture email addresses once the customer fills out the email field at checkout — no button click or page refresh required!

If your customer is logged in, then we know their email address from their account information, and their email is always associated with new carts right away.

Using Shopify

On Shopify stores, Jilt captures the customer email once the customer fills out the email field at checkout, along with the other customer info, and then submits the form by clicking the "Continue to shipping info" button.

Early email capture

You can enable Jilt's Add-to-cart popover to collect emails as soon as the customer has added the item to their cart, before they've even proceeded to the checkout stage. This can greatly increase the number of recoverable carts in your store (those for which we have an email address).
