All automation emails have a minimum delay of 10-15 minutes before a contact is entered into an automation. This delay is due to a process that runs on our servers by that interval to check your orders, contacts, memberships, or subscriptions to see if they match the segmentation rules and should enter the campaign.

Transactional emails are not limited by that delay, so they can be sent immediately.

Broadcast emails can be sent immediately or scheduled for a date in the future.
