Segmentation is a powerful way to send relevant emails to contacts that are likely to engage based on their details or behavior.

Here's how apply segmentation rules to a broadcast, automation, or order receipt:

Apply segmentation rules to a broadcast

  1. Go to Broadcasts and choose your broadcast draft or create a New Broadcast.
  2. Click on Audience to expand the audience options.
  3. Click on Segment your audience.
  4. Choose Contact details.
  5. Click on the rule you would like to add, configure the details and choose Add Rule.

Apply segmentation rules to an automation series

  1. Go to Automations and choose your the automation, or create a new automation.
  2. Click on Segment your audience.
  3. Choose Contact details or Order details.
  4. Click on the rule you would like to add, configure the details and choose Add Rule.

Apply segmentation rules to an order receipt email

  1. Go to Order Receipts and choose the receipt email you would like to segment.
  2. Click New Email.
  3. Click on Segmentation rules.
  4. Choose Contact details.
  5. Click on the rule you would like to add, configure the details and choose Add Rule.

Note: if the order does not match the rules applied to any receipt emails, the default email will be sent.
